Friday, Jan. 21, marked the day MidAmerica Nazarene University restored the tradition of MNU Mania. Back in the 1990s, MNU Mania was a marquee event, known back then as Lanpher Mania, as it was held in Lanpher basement, and professors such as Mike Gough and Neil Friesland participated in it.

Contrary to popular belief, some people who play sports have more going for them than just their athleticism. For example, the MNU women's soccer team was recently awarded the National Soccer Coaches Association of America 2008-2009 Team Academic Award for having a combined average GPA of 3.

Five graduating seniors create vacancies in the ASG Executive Cabinet. The 2010-2011 Associated Student Government Executive Cabinet elections will be held in early March. The executive cabinet election season begins on Feb. 2 with an informational meeting for all those who are considering running.

Intramural basketball kicked off in the Barn

It was hard to not join all of the laughter, free popcorn, and joyful banter inside of Land Gym when MNU kicked off their intramural basketball season at Late Night in the Barn at midnight on Jan. 18. There was one game played with two very competitive teams on this late night activity.
