Going into last Saturday's game against Culver-Stockton, women's head basketball Coach Bill Olin was just 7 games away from earning 500 career wins as a head coach during his 30 years of coaching. He also stood just 12 regular season games away from the end of his coaching career.
On Thursday, Jan. 21, the Pioneers hosted Baker University in a packed house. MNU gave the crowd a show as they pulled out a 78-51 victory. They held Baker to just 31% shooting for the game. The defense also played well and only allowed Baker to shoot 26.9% from behind the 3-point line.
As of this season, MidAmerica Nazarene University cheerleading has finally become a collegiate squad. After welcoming their new coaches Josh and Jessie Magaha in mid November, the transformation of the squad began. The coaches have opened up many opportunities for the squad to become involved and advance their skills to be able to perform at many high skill level events.
