On Feb. 19-20, Kansas City will host Acquire the Fire in Kemper Arena. Acquire the Fire is a 27-hour long Christian convention with featured bands and special speakers.

While Acquire the Fire mainly caters to teenage youth, it is also beneficial and relevant for older college-age youth.

Acquire the Fire is a tour created for those who appreciate Praise and Worship bands as well as headliners in the Christian music industry including Leeland, Thousand Foot Krutch, David Crowder Band, Kutless, Lecrae, Canton Jones, Building 429, Unhindered, Sanctus Real, the Afters, Pillar, Rush of Fools, Disciple, Esterlyn, Abandon, Everyday Sunday, Tedashii, J.R., K.J. 52, Stephanie Smith, Sarah Reeves, Manafest, and the Spark.

The event seeks to bring the attendees closer to the Lord and to one another not just through music, but also through the inspirational speakers who give not only their testimonies, but lifelong lessons that will help the audience grow in their faith.
